I Love to Teach & Mentor!
My military career taught me so many life skills, but one of the most important was how to "pay it forward" by mentoring and training others. We all make mistakes on our journey to learn something new. Every military tour I had, I tried to leave it better than I found it. That usually included leaving a detailed "SOP" or Standard Operating Procedure so the next person coming in behind me didn't have to re-invent the wheel or start from scratch.
In my journey as a self-taught photographer, I have learned a lot from others and now I feel like I can contribute some lessons learned of my own.
I've partnered with Capital Photography Center, a woman-owned small business in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area, that offers in-person and virtual photography classes and mentoring.
The following list of courses are scheduled periodically through out the year, alternatively you can book a one-on-one mentorship session on similar topics.

Join us, while I introduce you to every piece of gear I use in my studio to create headshots & portraits. It's a cozy studio, so only a few of us get to play at one time.
Exploring Headshot Photography

How To Be A Photography Business Owner
You can't Google or YouTube your way through this one! I know because I did wing it at first, and found out through 2 years of back taxes and penalties that I missed some critical steps when I set up my business. I am sharing all of my mistakes and lessons learned, so you build a solid and legal foundation for your future photography business. Don't wing it!
